in 2021 in SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS and SPIDERMAN: NO WAY HOME.

2021 has been a busy year for him with appearances in Disney’s RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON
voicing the formidable giant TONG and opposite Winston Duke in Edson Oda’s directorial debut,
NINE DAYS. He received a Film Independent Spirit award nomination for “Best Supporting Actor” for
his role, and also made Variety’s list of Oscar Nominee predictions in the same category.
Previous film credits include, Armando Iannucci’s’ THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD,
GEMINI MAN opposite Will Smith, and cult sci-fi favourites such as Danny Boyle’s SUNSHINE, and

On the small screen you’ll recognise Wong from his starring role as the terrifying KUBLAI KHAN in
Netflix's historical epic series MARCO POLO and as Master Lin in DEADLY CLASS from the Russo
Brothers.

Wong has also had a successful stage carer, beginning at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre under the
tutelage of Mark Rylance and continuing to develop his growing reputation as a dramatic actor
playing Laertes opposite Michael Sheen's HAMLET at the Young Vic in 2012. The following year
Wong would receive critical acclaim for his performance in THE ARREST OF AI WEIWEI at the
Hampstead Theatre and would earn a Best Dramatic Performance nomination at the West End
Frame Awards in 2013 for his portrayal of Zhang Lin in Lucy Kirkwood’s 5 time Olivier award-winning CHIMERICA
