Jared Sams has worked in film, television, and comics. In film and television, he worked for several years in development for NBC-Universal and as a producer for America's Got Talent. In comics has created, written and illustrated SPACE NEGRO: THE LAST NEGRO (1First Comics), written and illustrated the Qianna and the Quantum Train series of YA illustrated books (Capstone), and illustrated The Secret Society of Monster Hunters series of illustrated YA books (Torch Graphic Press). Jared Sams' SPACE NEGRO: THE LAST NEGRO is currently nominated for Glyph Awards, including Best Writer and Rising Star of 2026!
