Austin Ackert is a Cartoonist and Indie Comic creator based in Arizona. With a style all his own that is a Fusion of Punk Rock and Psychedelia he draws inspiration from artists like Robert Crumb, Big Daddy Roth and Jhonen Vasquez to name a few. Austin is one of the Artists featured in the Tremors Anthology series from Aequitas Comics, he’s the regular artist on the Gabes Cave series also by Aequitas Comics, and he has been featured in many zines across the country including Wizerd Megazine from Cosmic Lion Productions. Austin is also a featured artist for the Trading Card giants at Upper Deck, having worked on several sketch card sets for them! There’s also Austin’s self published comic, Carmine Sunshine, a story about a vampire that gets abducted by aliens!
