Ebony T. Soy is a Los Angeles–based narrative artist, author, curator, and creator of the Carnal Folklore series. Through illustration and prose, her work explores mythology, identity, memory, and cultural storytelling. She is the author and illustrator of Maloles: The Reckoning, Vol. 1 – Keeper of the Underworld (Hot Tropiks, 2025) and has created artwork for projects including Lumpia With a Vengeance, Giant-Size Lumpia, Jemini #2, and Kwento Comics. Her work has been exhibited at TAG Gallery, SOMArts Cultural Center, Gallery Nucleus, The Hive Gallery & Studios, and Comic Book Hideout. Soy has appeared as a panelist and speaker at WonderCon, FilAm CreatorCom, Irvine Valley College, and Crafton Hills College. A verified professional with Comic-Con International, she also curates exhibitions that amplify Filipino American and emerging artists while fostering community through art and storytelling.
