Angelo Mendez is the writer and creator of Amboys and Kwento Monster Anthology. His work focuses on Filipino stories through comics and genre storytelling. He is also the founder of Hot Tropiks, a publisher and distributor focused on books from the Philippines and its diaspora. He previously co-founded Kumu and has worked as a film producer, including Love at First Stream (2021), now streaming on Netflix.
