Nex Vierling

Nex Vierling is Studio Skye-Tiger Comics’ resident teenage prodigy. Discovered in mid-2023 after showing their sketchbook to Ray-Anthony Height at a San Diego Comic-Con event, Nex was quickly taken on as a protégé—marking the start of a dedicated mentorship.
Since then, Nex has become one of the few teenagers since the 1970s to contribute to an official DC property, debuting as an inker on The Power Company: Recharged #1 – All In. Trained in traditional media and a graduate of a prestigious art high school, Nex draws heavy inspiration from manga and anime, with Junji Ito as a particularly major influence—Ito himself has praised Nex’s work after meeting them.
At the studio, Nex primarily focuses on covers, character designs, and inking, rapidly emerging as an exciting new voice in comics. Nex will have covers coming out for Studio Skye Tiger's Ebony and the Golden Gun, Midnight Tiger Evo, and Charley Stickney's White Ash.
