Phil Mucci

Creator of two indie comics series, Professor Dario Bava and Gringo Loco, Phil Mucci began his career as an award winning photographer in NYC. After writing and directing his multi-award winning short film The Listening Dead, Phil followed it up with the short film Far Out, which was featured on the Sundance Channel. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Phil wrote, directed, and animated a string of award-winning music videos for bands like Metallica, Disturbed, Korn, High on Fire, and many more. He won the Final Draft Big Break screenwriting award in the horror/thriller category for his 2020 screenplay Season of the Bitch. His first graphic novel, Murder Vibes From The Monster Dimension, was released by Diabolik LLC in 2020 as well, which was quickly followed up by Professor Dario Bava's Occult Activity Book (and Spirit Board!). Both books now in their second printing, Phil continued the Professor Dario Bava series with Orgy of the Blood Freaks, and launched Gringo Loco, a supernatural spaghetti western comic series.
