Rafael Navarro

Rafael Navarro has spent more than three decades in the industry, contributing his talents to animation, illustration, and comic books across various industries. He received a Daytime Emmy and the Xeric Foundation Award. Presently, he teaches art and film to neurodivergent students. Comic book career includes the sci-fi classic Guns A’ Blazin’ (co-created with Mike Wellman), and the Xeric Award-winning lucha noir masterpiece SONAMBULO, now on its 30th anniversary. Credits include: Batman, Scooby Doo, Spectacular Spiderman, Rugrats, Mucha Lucha, among others. His work is currently being archived at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts.
