Ro Higashi

Ro Higashi is a Filipino queer parent of two children, and is the creator of the popular webcomic turned graphic novel series, Half of the Crown. She dedicates her free time to raising a multi-cultural family, to the local Asian and Pride communities (PF Pride Logo Designer, Filipino Day Market Aswang Artist, YARFEST Artist Vendor Curator), and can be seen teaching manga classes to kids of all ages. Originally from Seattle, she has created multiple winning mascot designs for Sakuracon, the largest Japanese and anime convention in the Pacific Northwest.
