Tom King is the New York Times-bestselling author and multiple Eisner Award-winning writer of comic book projects including Batman, Mister Miracle, Strange Adventures, The Human Target, The Vision, and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the latter which serves a source material for the upcoming DC Studios film Supergirl slated for release on June 26, 2026. He recently served as co-creator of the upcoming HBO series Lanterns, releasing in August 2026. Currently, King is writing Wonder Woman at DC Comics, The Archie Movie for Universal Studios, and showrunning the much-anticipated Mister Miracle animated series. Prior to his writing career, King served overseas in the Iraq and Afghan theaters of war as a counterterrorism officer in the CIA. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and three children.
