Fans with Special Needs

Los Angeles Comic Con is dedicated to serving all of its attendees and making their experience as enjoyable and entertaining as possible.

If you are an attendee with disabilities, Los Angeles Comic Con has implemented the following policies in order to provide you the best service possible.

Attendee Registration:

When you arrive to pick up your badge(s), please alert one of the line monitors or a Los Angeles Comic Con staff member, and we will happily get you to the front of the line. Each registration table is wheelchair accessible, and we have helping hands available as needed.

Panel Room Seating:

In every panel room, a portion of the front row is reserved for attendees with disabilities or mobility issues. These seats will be kept open until five minutes before the start of the panel. Please note that our panels can and will reach capacity so reserved seats may be filled. It is highly recommended that you do not wait until the last minute to arrive at a panel room as seating is not guaranteed.

American Sign Language Interpreters:

There will be American Sign Language interpreters for our deaf attendees during Main Stage panels. In addition to ASL Interpreters at the Main Stage, we will have a limited number of ASL interpreters available for individual assistance.

Main Stage Seating:

There is a selection of seats at the Main Stage that are reserved for attendees with disabilities or mobility issues. These seats are to the left and right of the stage. Please see a Los Angeles Comic Con staff member, who will escort you to these seats. These seats will be kept open until 5 minutes before the start of a panel.

Please note that our Main Stage panels can get very crowded and reserved seats may be filled. It is highly recommended that you do not wait until the last minute to arrive at the Main Stage as seating is not guaranteed.

Wheelchairs:

A limited number of wheel chairs are available on a first come, first served basis. Please see the Help Desk in the South Hall Lobby for assistance with obtaining a wheelchair.

Guide Dogs and Service Animals:

Service Animals are welcome at the Los Angeles Convention Center provided they are leashed or under similar control as appropriate. The owner takes full responsibility of his/her animal.

Autograph Lines:

Some autograph lines have a separate VIP access line. Please notify the line attendant and you will be provided use of this separate line. For other autograph lines that do not include VIP access, please notify a Los Angeles Comic Con line monitor and they will accommodate your entry. Please note that this access does not guarantee a shorter or “no wait” time. This access is provided to minimize navigation of lines.

Medication:

If you have medication or special needs that needs refrigeration, please be aware that neither Los Angeles Comic Con or The Los Angeles Convention Center can provide refrigerators. You should bring a cooler or insulated bag to accommodate your needs.

Please take care to plan your day in advance.
