Nichelle Nichols is an American actress, singer, and voice artist best known for her portrayal of Nyota Uhura in Star Trek: The Original Series, and its film sequels. Nichols’ portrayal of Uhura was ground-breaking for African American female characters on American television.
Walter Koenig is best known for his role as Pavel Chekov in Star Trek and Bester on Babylon 5. He is also a writer and producer.

Doug Jones is perhaps one of the most brilliant actors of our time. Doug’s career spans numerous years in television and on film, currently Doug can be seen as “Saru” in CBS’ “Star Trek Discovery. He can also be seen in the Oscar winning and highly nominated film “The Shape of Water” in which Doug teams up again to bring an original story to life by director Guillermo del Toro! Deep Roy was born in Nairobi, Kenya. His birth name is Gordeep Roy, which means ‘God’s Light.’ He has been acting for more than 30 years taking on some great roles that include working for Tim Burton on several pictures including CORPSE BRIDE (he voiced the character of General Bonesapart) and PLANET OF THE APES where he portrayed Thade’s Niece! He soared to worldwide popularity in another Tim Burton film CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY where he got to work side by side with actor Johnny Depp playing the infamous Oompla Loompa! To STAR WARS fans around the world however, Deep will always be known as the pudgy band member DROOPY MC COOL in the Sy Snootles & Max Reebo Band, who was seen in Jabba’s Palace in RETURN OF THE JEDI. Other large commercial films include THE NEVER ENDING STORY and Disney’s THE HAUNTED MANSION. DR. WHO fans will always remember him as Mr. Sin!!!! For this role, he had to take Pilates and dance lessons in preparations for the four musical numbers.
Diana Trujillo was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, whereas a young Latina she imagined exploring and traveling through space. At the age of seventeen, Diana immigrated to the United States to pursue her dream of one day working for NASA. Beginning in 2008, she was able to achieve that goal, joining NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as an aerospace engineer. Currently, Diana serves as one of the Mission Leads for NASA’s next generation Mars rover, Perseverance. In that role, she is tactically responsible for the team that commands the rover activities of the day as well as the team that analyses the rover’s telemetry and behavior to determine healthy and state. Previously, she served as a Surface Flight Director during early surface commissioning, and the Deputy Surface Phase Lead on the mission’s Robotic Arm and the SHERLOC and PIXL scientific instruments which identify, evaluate, and collect critical information on the surface of Mars.
Harry ‘Doc’ Kloor is an American scientist, film producer, director, writer, and entrepreneur. Kloor was first to be awarded two PhDs simultaneously in two distinct academic disciplines (i.e. Physics and Chemistry) both earned at Purdue University. In recognition of this achievement he was named ABC person of the week in August 1994. Kloor is a film writer, director and producer. Kloor helped create Taiwan’s animation industry, bringing, Quantum Quest, the first big animation film to Taiwan that starred major Hollywood stars. He has written for Star Trek: Voyager and was the story editor for Gene Roddenberry’s Earth: Final Conflict, a series he co-created/developed.
Jessica U. Meir was selected by NASA in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Brown University, a Master of Science in Space Studies from the International Space University, and a Doctorate in Marine Biology from Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UCSD). From 2000 to 2003, Dr. Meir worked for Lockheed Martin’s Human Research Facility, supporting human physiology research. During this time, she also participated in research flights on NASA’s reduced gravity aircraft and served as an aquanaut in an underwater habitat for NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO). Prior to becoming an astronaut, her career as a scientist focused on the physiology of animals in extreme environments. Meir most recently served as flight engineer on the International Space Station for Expedition 61 and 62.

Melinda M. Snodgrass was a writer, story editor and executive script consultant on several TNG episodes including the fan favorite “The Measure of a Man.” In addition, along with being a noted science fiction writer (i.e., the Wild Cards mosaic series) Melinda has worked on such series as Reasonable Doubts and The Outer Limits.
Marc is a well known author, who wrote the definitive history of a show we all love: “Star Trek, These are the Voyages, TOS” for which he won a Saturn Award. His next Star Trek book, “These Are the Voyages: Gene Roddenberry and Star Trek on the 1970’s” will be released this summer.
Dr. Swati Mohan joined NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory first in 2004, after completing her B.S from Cornell University in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. After working as a systems engineer on Cassini during Saturn Orbit Insertion and Huygens Probe release, she returned to graduate school in 2005 to MIT. Dr. Mohan received her M.S. and Ph.D in Aeronautics/Astronautics from the MIT Space Systems Laboratory. Since her return to JPL in 2010, Dr. Mohan has worked on multiple missions such as GRAIL and OCO-3. Swati also co-founded and manages the Small Satellite Dynamics Testbed. For the past 8 years, she has been the Lead Guidance, Navigation, and Controls Systems Engineer for Mars 2020 Perseverance rover, focusing on Cruise and EDL.
Lisa Klink got her professional start in the world of Star Trek, writing for “Deep Space Nine” and “Voyager.” She has worked on many other shows including “Roswell,” “Hercules,” “Missing” and, most recently, “Pandora.” Lisa has also written novels, short stories and graphic novels, as well as the script for the theme park attraction “Borg 4-D.” She currently co-hosts the podcast “The Treksperts Briefing Room.”
Jack Treviño co-wrote the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine stories “Little Green Men” and “Indiscretion,” as well as a third un-produced episode story called “Quorum.” He’s also co-written several popular fan films such as, “Star Trek: Of Gods and Men,” “Starship Farragut’s Animated Adventures,” “Star Trek Continues” and “Star Trek Renegades.” His latest project is his first novel, “UnWanted,” an Old West tale of good vs evil with – you guessed it – a SciFi twist.
Rico’s selected film and television credits include guest staring as Marco in Young & Hungry on Freeform and Donnie in Grey’s Anatomy. Other selected guest star and recurring works include, The Fosters, NCIS, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, K.C. Undercover, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly, 2 Broke Girls, Days of our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, Murder in the First, Weeds, Sullivan & Son, Justified and The Shield. Rico’s breakthrough role was in the 2005 Academy Award Winning short, “Mighty Times: The Children’s March” where he portrayed civil rights activist, Shelley “The Playboy” Stewart. This period piece was Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson (Marvel’s The Avengers, Star Wars Trilogy) and Sam Elliott (The Hulk, The Big Lebowski) respectfully.

Erin Macdonald (PhD, Astrophysics) is a tattooed one-woman career panel for an astrophysics degree and currently lives in Los Angeles working as a writer as well as the technical consultant for the Star Trek franchise. She received her PhD from the University of Glasgow in Scotland doing research with the LIGO Collaboration on general relativity and gravitational waves. After research she moved into public education at museums and colleges before consulting for the federal government (Department of Defense and, what is now the US Space Force). Erin then followed her passion into writing and entertainment consulting where she could tell the types of stories that can inspire future generations and joined the Star Trek franchise in 2019. In addition to TV writing she is a recurring writer for the popular YouTube channel Extra Credits, and wrote and narrated the Audible Original The Science of Sci-Fi while continuing to give talks and panels on the science of science fiction at a number of popular culture conventions across the country.

Crystal Allen is known for her portrayal of the “Orion Slave Girl D’nesh” on Star Trek: Enterprise: Bound (2005) and as “Navigator Yara” in the popular independent film, Star Trek: Of Gods and Men (2007).

Cirroc Lofton was born on August 7, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Beethoven (1992) and Invasion (2005).
As a child, Chris spent time on the sets of the original series with his father, James “Scotty” Doohan. At 19 years old, Chris was asked to be in the first Star Trek movie, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, which was only the beginning of several appearances on that beloved ship. His most recent credited Trek movie role put him in the transporter room of J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek Into Darkness”, which followed his appearance in the directors first “Star Trek” in 2009, where Chris shared the screen with the new Scotty, Simon Pegg. Chris is also credited for playing “Scotty” in the critically acclaimed, award winning web series, Star Trek Continues and also voices the character of Scotty on the popular online game, Star Trek Online: Agents of Yesterday
Research Scientist, JPL – Morgan Cable is an expert in the ocean worlds of our solar system, including Saturn’s moons Titan and Enceladus.
In addition to numerous film festival grand jury prizes, James Kerwin’s work has earned distinctions such as the Webby, the Geekie, Accolade Awards, Telly Awards, the Axiem, the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant, and the R.C. Norris Screenwriting Award. He was named “Best Director” and “Best Screenwriter” by New York Visionfest for “Yesterday Was a Lie” — his feature film debut from Entertainment One and IndiePix — starring Trek’s Kipleigh Brown and Chase Masterson. James’s live stage credits range from classical to modern; he was listed among the Los Angeles Times’ “Faces to Watch” as part of the Lone Star Ensemble theatre group, and has frequently directed for Daniel Henning and Noah Wyle’s Blank Theatre Company. His directing has been honored by critic Paul Birchall for two consecutive years in Back Stage Magazine’s “Best of the Year” list. James’s work has been cited by scholarly organizations and journals such as the Shakespeare Association of America and Shakespeare Newsletter. Beverly Washburn is best known to Star Trek fans for portraying Arlene Galway in “The Deadly Years.” She was a child actress and starred in several TV shows and movies including, “Old Yeller,” “Wagon Train,” and “The New Loretta Young Show.”
Tim Russ is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and musician. He is best known for his roles as Lieutenant Commander Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager, Robert Johnson in Crossroads (1986), and East of Hope Street (1998), Frank on Samantha Who?, Principal Franklin, a recurring character on the Nickelodeon live-action teen sitcom iCarly, and D.C. Montana on The Highwaymen (1987-1988). He is also an amateur astronomer.
France Nuyen is the French actress who played Elaan in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode “Elaan of Troyius”.
Deborah Lacey is an American actress who had a recurring role in the final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as Sarah Sisko, the mother of Benjamin Sisko. More recently, Lacey had the recurring role of Carla in Mad Men. Lacey has made guest starring appearances in The A-Team, Highway to Heaven, Doogie Howser, M.D., Frasier, Sliders, Cybill, House and Bones.
Tanya Lemani portrayed Kara in “Wolf in the Fold.” She guest starred in several TV shows including “Bionic Women,” “Get Smart” and “I Dream of Jeanie.”
Mr.Jefferson is known internationally as “Lieutenant Boomer” from the original “Battlestar Galactica”.
In a career spanning over 5 decades, Jefferson was also a series co-star in the award winning Novel for Television “Rich Man Poor Man” opposite Nick Nolte, as well as it’s sequel, “Rich Man Poor Man Book II”. He also co-starred in the Revolutionary War mini series “The Bastard”, the Western series “The Yellow Rose” with Sam Elliott and Cybill Shepard, and “The Devlin Connection” with Rock Hudson.

Herb is a New York trained actor studying at The Herbert Bergof Studio, The Actors Studio with Lee Strasberg, and is an Alumnus of New York’s historic American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Patricia is perhaps best known for her work in the 1990 cult classic “Night of The Living Dead” as Barbara, the beleaguered heroine. Some may argue she is best known for her role as Lyta Alexander in the Hugo Award winning series, Babylon 5. Either way, she has been swept into a career that features horror and Science Fiction projects. She is less recognizable, but no less memorable, as the Horror Hag in Evil Dead III, Army of Darkness. On the boards, Pat was featured in the Los Angeles Sci Fest of Plays.
Fans make a game of spotting her in the over 50 appearances in the Star Trek franchises: ST:TNG, DS9 and Voyager as well as the feature film “Generations”. She was in Star Trek: The Original Series first pilot “The Cage.” The costume work led her to being cast as the M-113 creature in “The Man Trap.” Gimpel also served as an extra in later episodes. Gimpel also worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise.

Sean David Kenney is an actor whose short movie and television career spans nine movies and five television guest spots – four of them on Star Trek: The Original Series. His most notable role is probably that of the mute, disfigured Fleet Captain Christopher Pike in “The Menagerie, Part I” and “The Menagerie, Part II”. He also played the minor recurring character of Lieutenant DePaul. For the past fifteen years, Kenney has been a commercial photographer in the Los Angeles area, specializing in corporate portraits and “head shots.” In 2016, he was slated to play “Commodore DePaul” in the fan film “Star Trek: Captain Pike”.
Bobby Clark is an actor and stunt performer, who appeared in Star Trek: The Original Series. Clark and fellow stuntman Gary Combs played the Gorn captain in the TOS episode “Arena”. Clark also appeared as an actor in at least three other episodes.
Mae Carol Jemison is an American engineer, physician, and former NASA astronaut. She became the first black woman to travel into space when she served as a mission specialist aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
Gary Graham is best known to Star Trek fans as Tanis in the Voyager episode, “Cold Fire” and his recurring role as Ambassador Soval in Enterprise. He is also well known in the sci-fi universe for his leading role as Detective Sikes in the TV show Alien Nation and as Achilles in the movie Robot Jax.
Jimmy Diggs sold more episodes of Star Trek than any other freelance writers in the history of the franchise. He wrote 8 Star Trek: Voyager episodes and one episode for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, (Dr. Bashire, I Presume) which was one of the most popular episodes.
Gigi Edgley is an Australian actress, singer and songwriter. She is best known for her roles as Chiana on the series Farscape and Lara Knight in Rescue: Special Ops. She also guest starred in Episode VI of Star Trek Continues.
Michael Dante is an American actor, stage and screen director and former professional athlete. He was a frequent extra on Star Trek: The Original Series and was ultimately cast in the role of Maab in the second season episode “Friday’s Child”.
Moogega Cooper is the Lead Planetary Protection Engineer for Mars 2020. She was responsible for ensuring spacecraft compliance with cleanliness requirements. This required interfacing with several entities within JPL, vendors, and NASA Headquarters. Moogega is a recipient of several awards, including the NASA Early Career Public Achievement Medal, the Charles Elachi Award for Exceptional Early Career Achievement, and JPL Voyager Awards for Technical Leadership.
Robert Meyer Burnett is an American filmmaker, DVD producer and, online film pundit and YouTuber. Burnett directed Free Enterprise and the short film The Sacred Fire. He has also edited over 10 feature films, and worked as a Star Trek consultant for Viacom Interactive and Paramount Parks’ Star Trek: The Experience located at the Las Vegas Hilton. Burnett has twice been a guest of honor at the science, science fiction, and fantasy convention, CONvergence.
