Marvel Contest of Champions: Last Person Standing Tournament Rules

Format: King of the Hill

Start Time: 8:00 PM
End Time: Until One Champion Remains
Pre-Registration Required: Open until start time or until signup cap is reached

Format:

• This is a Last Person Standing tournament using a King of the Hill format.

• The tournament begins with two players facing off.

• The winner stays on to face the next challenger in line.

• The loser is eliminated.

• The cycle continues until only one player remains undefeated.

Registration & Participation:

• Pre-registration is required and closes at 8:00 PM or when capacity is reached.

• Players will be assigned numbers and called in order.

• You must be present when your number is called or you will forfeit your spot.

• Each player gets one life—once eliminated, you’re out.

Match Rules:

• Matches are single round, winner-takes-all.

• Characters are selected before each match begins.

• All games are played on default arcade settings.

• No rematches unless there is a technical error or draw.

• Players must keep both hands on the controls—no outside help or coaching.

Tiebreakers:

• If a match ends in a true draw, the same two players will rematch immediately with the same characters.

Prizes:

• The last undefeated player standing at the end of the tournament will be declared the winner and receive the top prize.

• Additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place may be awarded based on number of wins and final standing.
