Hi, I'm Mauro Balcazar, an artist and owner of the Coffin Couture design studio. By day, a mild-mannered graphic designer for audible.com, creating cover art for the likes of Margaret Atwood and R.L. Stine. But by night, crafting art inspired by his love of monsters, film and all things pop culture.

My work has been featured and licensed for publications like “John Carpenter’s Halloween: Artbook, “Aliens: The Artbook”, Galleries1988 and coming In February 2025, "Ultraman: The Artbook". My art is family friendly with a broad appeal which ranges from alternative movie posters, portraits, enamel pins, tarot cards, and recently, custom sculpting 3d sculptures.
