Steven E Gordon has been in the animation industry since 1977 when he got his start on Ralph Bakshi’s film Lord of the Rings. He was Animation Director on the Bakshi-Frazetta feature Fire and Ice.
He animated for Disney on The Black Cauldron and The Great Mouse Detective and was the Animation Director and character designer on The Swan Princess.
He was the character designer and director on X-Men: Evolution and The Ultimate Avengers
Most recently he worked for character designs on Eyes of Wakanda for Marvel Animation and as a director for Disney Jr. on the new series Ariel
He also occasionally illustrates Comics and Children’s books…
